This is a great "always on" lens for your camera. The focal length range is incredible and allows you to use this lens in nearly every photographic situation. Of course, this lens can't beat specialized lenses for certain purposes (eg: macro lens or wide angle lenses), but it's so comfortable to be able to travel with only one lens. Unfortunately this lens doesn't come with an image stabilizer.
