This appliance is a satisfactory home workhorse

Advantages: It's inexpensive and will do the basic job
Disadvantages: It's big, tall and bulky, runs fairly loud and takes many hours to process a bread
...mixed review. While this Sunbeam breadmaker is generally inexpensive enough and will certainly do the core job of providing you a way to make some decent homemade breads, it's pretty darn loud when operating and unlike some of the new more-modern breadmakers on the market, the production / baking time with this one is literally hours long! Additionally, you should be prepared that the size of this appliance on your counter will be B-I-G....even bigger ...

Easy to use
Review of Sunbeam 5891 by

Advantages: inexpensive
Disadvantages: large size
This breadmaker does a good job baking several variations of bread. You can set the loaf size, brown level, and type of bread. I was very disappointed in the basic white bread recipe that came with it, but when I found a good recipe, my bread turns out perfect every time. The real key is to check the dough at the beginning of the cycle and add more water or flour as needed. You should use breadmaker flour, which is a little more expensive than regular ...

Quick review of Sunbeam 5891
Review of Sunbeam 5891 by

We just recently purchased this product. We have had great success in making several different types of breads. We have found the bread
maker easy to use, following the detailed instructions, very easy to
clean, and the bread we have made delicious.
We like the design of this breadmaker, the weight, it is light to move around.
The price was just right for us, starting out to make our own bread, and we would recommend it to others wholeheartedly.

Have your bread and TRY to eat it, too...
Review of Sunbeam 5891 by

Advantages: Cheap
Disadvantages: Still tastes like every other bread machine bread out there.

(I'm very picky about my bread). So, I always used to bribe my Aunt to hand make my bread. Well, she is no longer around, close, at least, and I have to have my fresh bread. (NO, Safeway brand is NOT the same!!) So, I saw this little thing, thought, fine, why ...
