A high quality camera that is good for professional work. Not a snapshot unit however. The delay from click to capture is just too long. There are many options for altering images including the size from megapixel to email. The flash is basic and includes a 'red eye' setting. I found I needed a large memory stick and a spare battery for serious coverage of events. The floppy disc transfer, and the memory stick option are both useful. The short movie option (with sound) has been invaluable. The camera to tv leads are easy to use and offer the opportunity to quickly view results on a big screen. Not for the quick pic brigade but a serious alternative to less professional digital cameras.
