...I use to think that Sony was the best brand around but about two months ago I perchased a Sony camera and this TV and both of them instantly broke. We Bought a Sony Bravia Full HD 1080 40 inch and it is great. Maybe you just got hold of a bad one.. It preforms great and have had it since Oct, 2007.. Sony does make good products and should have a garentee on it and defective parts. The one I got is Great!
