Sigma SD 14

When you look at a lot of technical details, it seems to outdated by 2 or 3 years by actual Canon or Nikon Consumer DSLRs. But if you don't want gimmicks, invest a little bit of time to manage how to handle this, its a bargain for the image quality you can achieve. Not for all sujets, but fine art, protrait, architecture, nature the SIGMA SD14 is up to par to the professional DSLRs of the other brands. Sports and action might be a sligtly different story, but even there its more a matter of convenience instead of an absolute "no way". For me, it is the perfect choice with a unique sensor technology. Give it a try!
