Very handy appliance. I prefer to use an electric kettle over a standard stove top kettle for three reasons.
Firstly, it shuts off on its own as soon as the water comes to a complete boil.I never have to worry about forgetting about it and returning to find my water evaporated and the bottom of my kettle turning black (believe its happened!). Okay, while plenty of people may be wondering why such a separate applicance may be necessary just to boil water for tea, go ahead and buy this handy little appliance!
