...almost single-handedly the reason why Nirvana rocketed to super stardom. That doesn't however take anything away from the other tracks on this album. In UK magazine 'Q', this album was given the acclaim of second greatest album of all time, beaten only by the Beatles. So I am not the only person that holds this album in such high acclaim. I'll also say Nirvana was a fairly good band; but to tell you the truth, I still don't think they had as much talent as a lot of people gave them credit for. I think they owed most of their credit to the mainstream public. If they didn't go mainstream I think the band would have been just another garage band performing wherever they can which a small amount of fans. Nirvana is a GREAT band. It doesn't matter if the band is no longer, you still hear their music on the radio, and you will ALWAYS hear it. They made a lot of bands what they are today. There a lot a bands that get their sound from Nirvana; Seether, Puddle of Mudd, etc...

Nirvana were a pretty damn good band. One of the few good modern rock bands which I would be happy to say that I really like. Their hit single, that everyone has heard, "smells like teen spirit", hit the charts and will always be remembed, from the album with the little baby swimming for the dollar note!
