The Pebl's hinge mechanism is like nothing we've ever seen before on a cell phone. When you hold it in one hand, you can open the Pebl by sliding the front flap toward you (away from the hinge) with your thumb. The flap then flips open in one easy stroke. I used a Pebl for a while and had nothing but trouble with it. It would cut off when it wanted to, not cut back on sometimes, not charge, lose stored information, etc. I waited until my contract would allow me a new phone and switched. I would never buy this phone again. One good thing about it though, it was very durable. I dropped it a couple of times and the cover never sustaned any damage.

Good experience (but not spectacular) whit this clamshell model, sounds clear, confortable weight and size, decent conectivity, the weakest points are the memory an the camera (only 5 mb with no chance to use a memory card plus a VGA of 640×480 pixel camera really leaves mobile video fans out of the equation), it might take some time before you get used to the flat metalic keys, nothing to worry about... now somethig about everybody can agree is the ...
