This a great router. It is the only one i have ever owned and have had it for over two years. it is small so it does not take up a lot of space. it was affordable - $29. the design is about as cool as you can get for a wireless router. i have never lost my signal, and i keep this thing on twenty four hours a day- seven days a week. GREAT product. I have had this for about 2 1/2 years and have only had a problem once- that was when the power had gone out and upon me rebooting, it was fine. Very simple to install and I am not a technical geek by any means. Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router WRT54G This wireless router was our first experience with Linksys or any other wireless router. Our internet service was through the local cable company, and maybe that contributed to our lack of success with the router. My daughter's computer was upstairs close to the router, and mine downstairs. I hate being negative, but we did not get good service...slow connection, lost connections, etc. When we called the support center, which we did several times, we could not understand what we were being told to do. We gave up and went to another wireless router. Sorry, but true.

we've had int he past over 5 different brands of routers and this has been the best one for wireless, the price and connecting to games online with others. easiest to set up out of the 5 we've had. static IP# is the way to go to make it all run smoothly and automatic once you turn on your pc.

I have used the linksys router in several of my workplaces. It is an inexpensive, easy to use product that gives great results. Wether you are linking computers for an office or just for internet use it is a wonderful buy.

Unlike some, I have not experienced any bad connections from by Wireless G Router...I've had it for over a year and never lost connection once. I have lost connection due to my internet connection (which happens more than I care to mention); but the Linkysys has always worked. This is a very nice router to have compared to netgear. I have not had the same kind of problems with this router like I did with that one. I got it hooked up within about ten minutes without any kind of problems. I also ran as fast as my modem had run before I hooked it up. So I was very pleased. Yeah i dont now why this product is a cheaper in my country. I used but when my room is getting hot this product will be restart and cannot be use. I hope linksys can create new product can handle hot root.
