Advantages: graphics, speed, sound, features, easy to use Disadvantages: vista but nothing else
This is a very nice looking and reliable laptop to have for all your personal or business needs. It is very reliable in keeping all my school work stored and not being removed. It is very light weight and so easy to carry around. The battery last for a while. It has a perfect little touch to have and feels really nice. It has some nice graphics on the screen and it can down load rather fas without any kind of complications at all. It has several ...

Advantages: fingerprint authentication, fast, good sized screen Disadvantages: heavy, battery life is not very long
...There's no need to be wary of the Lenovo brand. One minor complaint that I have is it seems like the battery life is awfully short and the laptop is a bit heavy which makes it annoying (at least for me as a woman) to carry around. ...

Advantages High Spec, Powerful, Comfortable to use, System management Disadvantages Small touch pad, poor mouse buttons, poor sound from speakers
...In 2005 Lenovo took over IBMs thinkpad business and have since continued to build their own branded PCs and Laptops that are aimed at a lower market, i.e. cheaper starting prices than previous IBM models, moving away from business users, more towards small business and personal users.
This review is based on the Lenovo I have borrowed for a couple of months for a new Web project I'm working on. It belongs to a mate and I am reviewing it based upon my experience. This review will not contain comparisons with other Laptops. Thanks for your attention.....
The first two things that struck me when I saw this laptop were the looks, and the screen. Some call it dark gray, I call it matt black, with a silver cover and hinge covers this unit looks sleek. Not the best about but its not bad for a relatively new business (even if they did...

Review of Lenovo3000N100 0768 - Core Duo T2400 1.83 GHz - 15.4" TFT by

Advantages Built in webcam. fingerprint recognition that works, good customer support. Disadvantages Slightly sluggish compared to some higher end machines.
...I own a Lenovo3000N100 and use it daily for personal use. I also use a Dell Latitude D620 for work, but I will try not to compare them too much to each other in this review.
I acquired the Lenovo after my previous Laptop (a Medion) died and couldn't be resurrected by the Insurance company - so I didn't actually go out and buy this one specifically. In actual fact, it is much better than my Medion, although this may be due to the passage of time and better technology.
Technical Bits:
The laptop has a Core Duo processor (I think mine is 1.7Ghz not 1.83 as listed in the header). It has 512MB RAM, a DVD writer, fingerprint recognition and a nifty web cam in the lid. It has built in Wifi which works well. It has 4 USB ports, although annoyingly these are on the side - I prefer them at the back (especially fr the mouse). It also...

Advantages Low price Disadvantages Tiny speakers, Parts used from other makes
...After taking new Lenovo3000N100 Laptop from showroom, I hardly could use it for 2 hours. The hard disk ( I was surprised to see Lenovo using hard disk from another make) was giving no response.
I took it to IBM service center next working day, the service center people asked me to leave it there and to pick it next day.
Next day I went there to collect the laptop, but they told me they will have to replace the hard disk and they don't have a hard disk in their service center, they need more time, they will call me when my laptop will be fixed.
I am a IT professional, after all these I can not rely on Lenovo and make one my workstation....

Advantages: Quick, Cool and has a soft touch keyboard Disadvantages: Slower than you'd like on bootup, getting a bit old now.
...When I first bought this laptop back in the middle of 2006, I was astounded by it. It was quick, reasonably good looking, and the keyboard, well, its brilliant, nice and soft and most importantly easy to type on.
Preinstalled with Windows Xp Home Edition- which is going to be discontinued in 2009, I was assured to know that this- if it lasted me three years, could run Vista, or the new version of Windows- which I have every confidence it could do, as it handles multiple applications with ease.
Bootup isn't as fast as you'd like, mainly thanks to all the preinstalled software from Lenovo- which is worth it to be honest.
AS I say, I've had this for over two years, and dispite several coffee spillages, it still works, just as good as new.
Definatly would recomend this to anyone, especially now, its relatively cheap, the 1...
