This is the third Kodak we have owned and I continue to be amazed at their products. Quick shutter speed leads to less missed opportunities and many user-friendly picture modes are already set for a beginner photographer to easily catch great shots in any light/condition. I BOUGHT THIS CAMERA AND I THINK ITS A GOOD BUY, IT HAS AND 12X ZOOM AND 7.1 MEGA PIXELS WITH IMAGE STABLIAZATION SO IF YOU ARE AN AVERAGE PICTURE TAKER IT BE A NICE GIFT FOR YOURSELF AND SOMEONE ELSE THE 7.1 MEGA PIXEL TELL HOW BIG A PICTURE YOU CAN PRINT.
