The picture quality is awesome. The sound is absolutely amazing. If you want the best, this is it. I've only found one downside and that is the cooling lamp that has to be replaced every 3000 viewing hours. Here's a word to the wise. If you call a TV Repair Shop, it may run you as much as $600 for the replacement. Not to mention the time without a TV. Now, if you call 1-888-814-9697 and order part # UX21513 (don't forget to ask for instructions), it will cost under $150. So 10 minutes and a screwdriver gives you your set back. No brainer if you ask me.
