It has a pause and pour feature that allows you to get that first cup of coffee fast and then let the rest brew. I have also made hot tea in this little beverage brewer. This product is great to have to make coffee in. It really doesn't take long to use at a time. You can even make tea in it instead of using a different product. It is so easyu to main and clean. This product is not difficult to use and does not take up much space in the kitchen. This product works so good. I always love using my product . I make a lot of tea with it as well as coffee.
