Advantages: Plays AND Charges multiple types of ipods, wide range of frequencies
Disadvantages: You'd have to take your protective sleeve/case off before attaching

...my search ended with the Griffin Roadtrip. The Roadtrip is a package that contains a transmitter and dock that can connect directly to your vehicle or lighter adapter to which from you can set and/or mount. The way it's contoured, is literally PERFECT for my 2006 Honda Civic for where the adapter is located. So those with the new modeled Civics this is a definite must have for the Ipod enthusiast.
