Dell OptiPlex 755

Advantages: 2.4GHz Core 2 Quad Processor, 4GB of RAM
Disadvantages: only two expansion slots, one PCI and one PCIe

Dell OptiPlex 755 replaced the Dell OptiPlex GX260 we had on our Desks at work recently and I must say I was very impressed. The 2.4GHz Core 2 Quad Processor is incredibly fast, even with the resource heavy software we use. 4GB of RAM doesn't hurt either. I will say the there is only two expansion slots (One PCI and one PCIe or PCIexpress) which lead me to having to purchase a $400 Quad Video Card instead of two dual cards to run the four monitors ... ...chose to go with the Dell Optiplex 755. I was one of the few lucky ones to get a new computer earlier than the rest of the other employees. I really enjoy working on this computer every day. It is so much faster than my old one. The dual core processors make everything super fast! My computer came with 2GB of RAM and a 500 GB hard drive. This is more memory than I will ever use at work.
