With the Cuisinart Supreme, there's no pre-chilling and no bowls that need to be kept frozen before use. The ice cream maker is fully automatic and comes with a 60-minute timer. It holds up to 1.5-quarts of ice cream and includes a transparent lid with spout for adding ingredients like candies, nuts, fruits or cookie bits.

This is such a great way to make ice cream. I've had it over a year, and it's still going strong. Don't use it daily, but every month or so. PROS: no freezing the "bucket", ice cream in @ 50min-1hour (prep time included), make what you like and control the ingredients, makes quite a bit. CONS: can be noisy, hard to wait until it's done!
