I purchased this dishwasher in stainless steel in December 2007. Within a couple weeks of using it rust spots starting appearing on the dishwasher stainless steel door. And a few weeks later more rust spots appeared on the stainless steel bottom of the dishwasher. My silverware is damaged and has rust spots all over it because of this dishwasher. The manufacturer advertises that the stainless steel is "rust free and hygenic", however, this is not the case. The manufacturer, however, did not stand behind the product warranty and calls this problem a "cosmetic issue". Before this dishwasher I had a Whirlpool dishwasher that cost three times less and performed a hundred times better than this Bosch!
