Blackberry Curve 8310

Advantages: large screen, full keyboard, extensive extra features
Disadvantages: larger than standard phone

I purchased the Blackberry Curve so that I could have my to do list and my calendar with me without an added piece of technology to carry around. I was actually more than a little surprised with all the additional features I was able to either download from Google or came standard on the phone. Advantages: Messenger
Disadvantages: Not as small as other Phones

This phone is great. I recently bought one for myself (about 2 months ago) and I'm very happy with it. I can chat with all my friends using the messenger, which is very cool. I don't have to worry about being on my computer or expensive overseas calls. It's also very light, not heavy and bulky like lots of other phones. I bought the blackberry mainly for texting. After receiving it I was alittle worried that the buttons were to small for my fingers but as I have used it I've come to love it and have realized it isn't too small at all. Phone is comfortable in my hand and while I'm talking. Pretty user friendly for what I use it for. One other feature I like is that you can program your buttons for what you need and also remove any unwanted applications from the home screen for ease of finding the necessary applications. Great phone! Would recommend for anyone that loves to text or would like a phone for internet use.

At first I was pretty impressed with the Blackberry, it being my first PDA after coming from a Nokia 6000-series. However, the phone does not seem very durable and the network connections (EDGE, GPRS, etc.) are inconsistent. Thankfully it's still within the 30 day purchase period so I can return it to the AT&T store for a replacement. If the replacement gives up the ghost, I will go to the Samsung Blackjack.

I LOVE my Blackberry Curve. It was very easy to set up and use. I did have a few issued with the SIM card at first (it would fall out of place), but only happened a few times and has worked like magic since. This is a great device for anyone that that's on the run, traveling or sitting in too many meetings and wants a better way to keep up with work and personal life.
