I've worked on Mac towers for years, but now the iMac is a powerful enough tool for a designer to use full time. My only comments are that it is definitely worth upgrading the RAM to the full 4 GB, and getting a wireless mouse or wacom. For the price, you can't beat it for a design tool.

I am totally sold. I had toyed with the idea of an HP Desktop and went to Best Buy fully intending to buy one. Then the sales guy led me to the Mac section. After a Mac convert talked to me for 15 minutes, I was hooked. No viruses? Instant wireless! No big box! Giant screen! Beautiful graphics, all kinds of built in software, very intuitive.
