Apple MacBook Air Core 2 Duo 1.8 GHz - 13.3" TFT

MacBook Air is ultrathin, ultraportable, and ultra unlike anything else. But you don't lose inches and pounds overnight. It's the result of rethinking conventions. Of multiple... more...wireless innovations. And of breakthrough design. With MacBook Air, mobile computing suddenly has a new standard. MacBook Air is nearly as thin as your index finger. Practically every detail that could be streamlined has been. Yet it still has a 13.3-inch widescreen LED display, full-size keyboard, and large multi-touch trackpad. It's incomparably portable without the usual ultraportable screen and keyboard compromises. The incredible thinness of MacBook Air is the result of numerous size- and weight-shaving innovations. From a slimmer hard drive to strategically hidden I/O ports to a lower-profile battery, everything has been considered and reconsidered with thinness in mind. MacBook Air performance is as impressive as its form, thanks to its Intel Core 2 Duo processor. This chip was custom-built to fit within the compact dimensions of MacBook Air.

Review of Apple MacBook Air Core 2 Duo 1.8 GHz - 13.3" TFT by robertbob

Advantages: Extremely thin, beautiful screen quality, brilliant proccessor, decent RAM + Hardrive.
Disadvantages: Very expensive

...and storing music on the apple itunes application. Some how they even manage to make the MacBook completely wireless with wifi capabilty, and bluetooth as well so that data can be streamed easily and quickly without wires, which is always handy. I find this MacBook an engineering masterpiece and is definately one of the top laptops on the market. The MacBook Air is definately worth the money if you can afford $1800! ... Read review

It's Perfect, with one small annoyance
Review of Apple MacBook Air Core 2 Duo 1.8 GHz - 13.3" TFT by localgirl

Advantages: Very light weight
Disadvantages: One USB port, Not able to swap out battery

A friend of mine has one of these and I've used it a couple of times. It is so stylish and a true work of art that it's a pleasure to use it. My friend is a real serious computer user and gave up using a tablet style laptop when the Macbook Air became available. When asked what he likes about it, he said *It's perfect.* He really appreciates the light weight since he frequently carries it around all day going to meetings. His main complaint is that ... Not as great as it looks
Review of Apple MacBook Air Core 2 Duo 1.8 GHz - 13.3" TFT by jabbusch-girl

Advantages: thin, graphics, portable
Disadvantages: doesn't work as good as others, hard to connect as tims

...bought this very nice looking apple laptop. It is a very expensive kind of laptop to have and I think that is why she liked it because she thought that it would work better than others that was cheap. But she has told me that it worked ok but not as good as she thought that it would. The down loading was slower than some laptops. The connection was difficult at times to get onto the internet. It is very thin looking and the graphics were nice looking. ... Read review

Small itty bitty
Review of Apple MacBook Air Core 2 Duo 1.8 GHz - 13.3" TFT by mannipoo

Advantages: Small, for convinient reasons.
Disadvantages: Small, fragile, no cd-rom?

Apple is a great product! All of their items are great quality, the price shows that also. When I saw this laptop on a commercial on tv I was amazed. I had just began looking for a new laptop (Apple was who I want to buy from) and I saw this amazing laptop. It is so small! Once again with small things that can be a good thing and a bad thing. It weighs a mere 3 pounds and is less than an inch thick. Now I don't know about you but I don't think I would ... Read review

Not my type of Apple
Review of Apple MacBook Air Core 2 Duo 1.8 GHz - 13.3" TFT by Socialism

Advantages: Very Thin, Powerful for something so thin.
Disadvantages: Very Thin, Overated, Expensive, Breakable.

At first I thought the Macbook Air was pretty cool. It's pretty powerful with it's Core 2 Duo 1.8 Ghz Processor and 2 GB of RAM, but it's just to thin. If you drop this think just once it'll probably shatter in half. It doesn't even have a DVD as far as I remember, and with Blue-Ray soon about to take over you won't be able to play your favorite movies or games on this thing. I'm not saying it's bad, but it's just to slim for my own personal liking. ... Read review

Too thin
Review of Apple MacBook Air Core 2 Duo 1.8 GHz - 13.3" TFT by jlgosn01

Advantages: Small
Disadvantages: Breakable!

I believe Apple has some amazing products. This is definitely one of them. Although I am not an owner of this machine I have seen the commercials. I would have to agree with the last review though. This computer is just too thin. As clumsy as I am if something was placed on this computer it looks like it would crack. And no CD-rom? What good is a computer if you cant download programs from your old computer on it? I think this computer would be ... Read review
