You will have a hell of a time getting this repaired if it breaks and is under contract. We took ours in and they kept it for months because China would not send them the part. They gave up in frustration and gave us our broken set back. My hubby had to call and call to finally get the Akai people to replace our set and when they did it was with a re-furbished one not a new one. Do your self a favor if possible do not buy a set like this from China.
