I bought this remote and it really does do wonders. It controls more than my tv. I can use it on my vcr and dvd player as well and it is great. That way I only have one remote laying around the house. It works really good and I have never had any complaints out of it. My friend paid a lot of money for this remote but it does really work very good. You can program a lot of different kind of devices to it and just use this one remote. That is the thing that I really like about it. I don't have lots of remotes laying around the hose for my little on to get a hold of them. It works really well. I have had this remote for just about 5 months now. I've had to reprogram it atleast 6 times. I still can't figure out why it keeps losing the codes, the batteries are strong. I had no problems programming it with my TV, Cable box, DVD player and VCR. One word of advice, you need to turn the product you just programmed off and back on again before going to the next product to program. If you don't, everything else you put in there won't work. I use to have this kind of remote and it did not work well at all. i had alot of problems out of it. It didn't want to take my codes to program my other devices in to it. It was easy to work after every thing finally got programed in but it took a very long time for this. I have never had so many problems with any kind of remote.
