I hate clutter, so I am a fan of any device that helps simplify your life. I haven't had to touch my other remotes since I programmed this one - a big plus in my opinion. My only complaint is that the remote is a little "sensitive" - you have to keep the remote pointed at all the systems for about 10 seconds so that it can turn on all the devices. My friend paid a lot of money for this remote but it does really work very good. You can program a lot of different kind of devices to it and just use this one remote. That is the thing that I really like about it. I don't have lots of remotes laying around the hose for my little on to get a hold of them. It works really well.
