Disadvantages: Only 7 months old and it has broken down 4 times!

Worst fridge ever! 5 weeks after it was delivered the icemaker failed. It was replaced under warranty and lasted 5 months, when that one failed. The second failure was attributed to the icemaker fan, and was repaired under warranty. 5 weeks later it failed again! At this point the repairman is ordering a new circuit board, after replacing various other parts, and we are without an icemaker for the past 3 weeks. Each time it breaks down customer service ...
...should unplug the unit for 4 hours to allow it time to thaw. Only when that doesn't correct the problem will they send out a repairman. Never mind the fact that it hasn't corrected the problem in the past. The repairman is about to make his 4th appearrance is 7 months! ... Read review

Disadvantages: Parts broke 18 months into purchase/ not reimbursed

...After much hassle with LG and Best Buy (and a week without the fridge section working) they diagnosed a bad defrost mechanism, which is apparently pretty common with these (so why don't they resdesign it!). We had to pay $350 to get it fixed and it was only 18 months old. And forget about customer service at LG...they're awful! I wish I had more space to explain why. We weren't even reimbursed for the part or even called back after numerous calls. ... Read review

Advantages: Efficient, bottom freezer, lots of space, highly adjustable
Disadvantages: Problems with Door shelves, beeping can be annoying

...I looked at were by LG and Amana. In the end, we decided to get the LG and here's why. My old fridge was just under 18 cubic feet, and this one is over 25 cubic feet. Now, seven cubic feet may not sound like a whole lot but in reality, it certainly is. When it was delivered, and I put away all my food from my stuffed old fridge, this one still seemed empty. Even after our next big shop, we still seemed to have lots of space, where my previous fridge ...

Advantages: french door, ice and water in drawer
Disadvantages: small water dispenser

I have had this firdge for about 1 year - still love the french door design with the freezer ont he bottom. love the ice and water inthe door - the size of the glass taht it will fit is very small however! makes plenty of ice- keeps food well. the freezer holds alot and has the tilt feature which is really excellent- suprising how much you save by not having to opent he door all the way! love the titanium finish- easy to clean . the veggies drawers ... Advantages: nostaligic and easy access
Disadvantages: does not get ice cold

I got one of these for my sports/ Game room. It is pretty nice just plug it in and stock it with coke and you are good to go. You could put other beverages of your choice in it, and they also make a pepsi version of it. I consider coke a more american company just my opinion.
