Advantages: Easy access to filtered water and ice, able to rearrange shelving, easy hookup
Disadvantages: Slightly less freezer space

Me and my husband just bought one of these and we love it. He likes the water and ice machine. This makes life easier for out kids to get filtered water and we don't have to keep filling up a britta pitcher or worry about where to find room for an ice tray. I love it because I can rearange the shelves to that it is easier for my kids to get at the larger items, like the milk jug or coolaid pitcher and not spill anything. I can also put the things ... I don't know if the problems that i have had with this goodlooking icebox is because of poor craftsmanship or not being taking care of. But it's probably the craftsmanship since we loved this icebox. When getting the opertunity to discuss this icebox that me and my sister got my mom for her birthday i jumped at it, so you don't make the same mistake we did. I brought this refrigerator because my old one of 11 years had finally gave up on me. To my surprise this refrigerator is ok. Its a little smaller inside than the old one, but because it's a side by side it took up more room than my old, standard refrigerator. I purchased this one because I loved the idea of water dispensing refrigerator, but I didn't think it all the way out because I was not aware that a hole had to be pinched into the cold water ...
...thought because it was actually harmless. It runs really well and is virtually silent. I liked the sliding drawers, but I felt the compartment in the freezer was a bit too small for anything of substance to actually fit in there. I am still trying to figure out what to put in there. I really enjoy my refrigerator and I am drinking more water too! ... Read review

I have had this firdge for about 1 year - still love the french door design with the freezer ont he bottom. love the ice and water inthe door - the size of the glass taht it will fit is very small however! makes plenty of ice- keeps food well. the freezer holds alot and has the tilt feature which is really excellent- suprising how much you save by not having to opent he door all the way! love the titanium finish- easy to clean . the veggies drawers ... We bought this unit in August 2007 and I've really liked it for the most part. On the plus side: cabinet depth (and wider overall) means that you can see absolutely everything inside. It's very easy to clean and the digital temp controls extremely easy to see and manipulate. Also, the water filter is inside the top right corner, so it appears that it'll be easier to change (we'll see). There's also a "fast chill" feature that I haven't used yet. ...
...access, and the ice cube unit is easy to pull out if you want to dump a large amount of ice into something. The "fast ice" option works fairly well. The water/ice access is larger than many models so you can fit larger glasses or a coffee pot underneath. The ice also doesn't spurt all over the place like some units I've owned.
