veggies
Review of Vegetable Side Dish Recipes by jecht019

Advantages: good for vegetarians
Disadvantages: none

One of my favorite side dish is my Mom's mixed vegetables. All you need is sweet green peas, whole kernel corn (in can), carrots cubed bout 1/4 of an inch, mushroom buttons (you could buy the pieces, when you buy the buttons make sure to slice each in 1/4s), you could also add hard boiled quail eggs removed from the shells, chopped onions and garlic, salt and pepper and lots of butter. Heat the pan, when it is already hot put about 2tbsp of oil ...
...burned. Add the garlic and onions and sauté it. Then add the carrots, green peas, mushroom buttons and corn. Mix them all together under a low fire. There would be little amount of water on the bottom of the pan, make a crater and add the salt and pepper. You could taste your mixed vegetables' right saltiness through the small amount of soup at the bottom of the pan. IF you like to sweeten it more you could add little sugar. Then add the quail eggs. ... Read review
