The RCA TH 1101 1GB MP3 Player is, in my opinion, an excellent value! I purchased one of these several months ago and it is still going strong; it holds just enough space to keep me interested and has every function I want or need. It's also quite durable, having been dropped innumberable times (once into a sink full of soapy water!) and never once has it stopped working.
I use my MP3 player for three main purposes, all of which it does very well: ... ...option, I highly recommend the RCA TH 1101. It has all the functionality of a more expensive player, the quality of the audio and of recordings is high, and it can take a beating and keep going. If this one ever goes out on me, you can bet I'll get another like it.
A word of caution, however; it does not recharge it's own batteries off the USB drive of your computer, as many do. This takes a AAA battery; one battery lasts maybe 8 hours on average. ...
