For private listening, the headphone jack is conveniently located on the front of the unit. 24-key IR remote is provided for easy command of the system from a distance. Brightly illuminated, the fluorescent display allows the user to easily read displayed information from far away. The user can customize the brightness of the display by selecting one of three different levels. Digital AM/FM Stereo Tuner tunes AM/FM stations with maximum accuracy and minimum drift. It always tunes to the center of the broadcast channel for minimum distortion. Auto Tuner Preset Programming automatically scans the band and sets presets to the best tunable stations. Continuous Play allows the user to play both sides of a tape without having to open the cassette door and turn the tape over. Automatic Tape Shutoff (Play/Record Modes) automatically turns the tape player off when the end of the tape is reached to prevent wear on the media. 5-Disc Drawer-Load CD Changer provides the most amount of music to be played while maintaining the small, sleek design of a 3-CD system. Unique conical tray allows five CDs to be placed in the unit while maintaining readability of all disc labels. Simultaneous Play-and-Load System allows the user to change CDs in the tray without interrupting the disc currently playing.
