Great for people who just want to keep their music/computer game sound to themselves without other people hearing what they are doing. This is a cheap alternative to fancy shmancy wireless headphones. This is a No Muss, Less Fuss solution to personal audio.

A downside to this headphone model is that it is partly open air, meaning that other people will be able to hear your sound, but unless you always keep it on full blast this shouldn't be an issue. partly open air also means that you will be able to hear the should that are going on around you, which is a major hassle, you could ofcourse turn your sound all the way up but this again will disturb other people.
