Disadvantages: Nothing really.

This is another one of the cheaper lenses that works great without the higher prices of large name brands. No need to spend an extra $10-30 for a name brand as this Skylight filter does an equally good job. It's main purpose is to protect your lens you add it to and helps reduce UV rays allowing for bluer skies and a bit clearer photos in your pictures.
