I've had this water filter system by PUR for about a year now. Not only do I use this water for drinking and food preparation but I also use it for watering indoor plants. The filter inside the reservoir is easily replaced. The filter has a small calendar that affixes to the side of the container to let you know when to replace the filter. The replacement filters come in single or multiple units. The filter works off of gravity. Just fill the top of the container with water and after a few minutes it will leech down into the lower part for use. I store mine in the refrigerator and it takes up surprisingly little space. The filtering system is great to use and is more cost effective than bottled water.
