Fall out boy is one of my favourite punk rock band out there. I love how creative and unique they are. With song titles that are unusually long and songs that lyrically have no meaning to it. ( It might sound like I'm critisizing them but I'm not..I really like this band ). Just makes me wonder how can somebody come up with a song based on nothing? Advantages: musically capable live
Disadvantages: too average, and similar to all other modern rock bands

For me, Blink 182 are just another one of these average and overrated modern rock bands. I dont really find anything unique about them that distinguishes them from all the other modern rock bands which play with the same style (simple chord sequences, and boring repetitive vocals). My chemical romance are an emo-rock / metal band with extremely good production and sound quality, not to mention their fantastic composition skills. This band are one of a kind. I have to admit I really didn't like this band until this Summer. I don't know why but I really started listening to their music and grew to love it. I havfe heard a lot of people say that they are sell outs and that they were better when they weren't famous. In some way I agree.
