There's a bit of a "screen door" effect on low definition channels (if you're sitting too close), but the picture quality at low def is better than many other TVs I've seen and the HD content is awesome. My brother in law bought this projection tv last year and it has a great quality screen. It is really nice to watch movies and to play video games on it. It is not hard to install at all. My mom and dad bought this projection tv about four to five years ago and have had it worked on only once. The picture comes in very clear with a nice loud volume.
