Intel Core 2 Quad Core Q6600 is one of the best processors but not definetely the best in my opinion. Also, the adjective "best" doesn't mean the speed and performance stuff only, Because it is not the only thing we look when we are buying a new product. In order to judge a product to be "good" we should take it into account completely, especially if it is a processor, we should think about price speed and performance power consumption stability ...
...For example, I think Intel C2Duo E8500 wouldn't give a performance which is far below Q6600. However, it only consumes 65W of power and that means Q6600 is consuming %50 more, in the long run, it will mean a more cost from electricity. I think you should consider this when buying that kind of a processor. Well,I have been using Intel Pentium 4 2.93 Ghz. I'll say its an intermediate product.I need to use my computer a lot.And whenever I use it,I'm always multi -asking.So its like an absolute necessary that the processor is able to handle the load,and at the same time perform efficiently at a good speed. But it hasn't really met up to the expectations.Whenever I am at my desktop,I normally have 2-3 MS-Office components open simaltaneously, with 3-4 ...
