Intel Core 2 Duo E7200 was a decent processor when it was released, however, I can't say the same thing for todays needs and the advancing technology is always requiring a better performance, so this one could only be a product which can be replaced for an upgrade. If you already have a motherboard which supports Core 2 duo processors, I tihnk you should look for something suitable in 8000 series at least. I strongly recommend buying Intel E8500 ...

I think intel is building the most quality processors on the market today. I have been using intel processors only in my older computers, new ones and even on old and new laptops! I think the stability is the key issue in that. By the way, I doN't agree that the laptops are as stable as the desktop computers, so this makes the stability issue of each component of a laptop computer to be more important.
