the I9100 wide carrage printer by Canon
Review of Canon i 9100 by Billyio

Advantages: Wide carrage, fun to use
Disadvantages: very costly to replace the absorbshion pad for waste ink

Ok I have owned this printer for about 3 years now and use it almost everyday.. heres the thing there is a newer upgrade if you want to call it that. the I9900 both have an inherant problem. they use a absorbent pad to collect the unused ink this pad is under the printer and is internal, and not talked about by anyone from Canon, just take the printer to the repair place and give them money.. well the repair place cost at Best Buy was over 250 bucks ...
...this printer is not made any more but the I9900 is and it's the same case for that printer.YES I really like this printer NO I would not buy the I9900 just for this NO user replacement part, really look at what you are getting for your money ok? and ask ask ask, enjoy this printer as much as I do you are very lucky to have it. ... CANON IS THE BRAND FOR ME!
Review of Canon i 350 by SimpIyCrazy

Advantages: Easy to use and maintain, reliable for simple tasks
Disadvantages: Not recommended for quality photo printing.

...I have a better Canon printer/scanner that I use for my photo printing. This printer is one that I use for every day printing. It measures approximately 15" x 5" x 8". I have it sitting on a small storage drawer next to my computer desk where I keep my extra paper and ink cartridges. The top of the printer folds down and the output try slides in so it stays compact and tidy when not in use. I also use the cheapest paper in it. I don't recall EVER ...
...for school papers, for tax returns, for mailing and address labels. I use Microsoft Home Publishing for my small business. I often print up documents that have color as well as black and white. Every copy comes out clear and sharp. The address labels are better than any I have ever received from a company. I can choose the font I want and add cute graphics and this printer will print up 30 professional quality labels. It will also take card stock ... Read review

ONE FOR HOME USE
Review of HP Deskjet D1460 by kinshuk7566

Advantages: PRICE, CAN BE EASILY CARRIED, COLOURED
Disadvantages: NO PAPER COLLECTION TRAY, ODD PAPER JAM

...a very reasonable amount, the HP Deskjet D1460 is a colored printer which has the basic functions of normal, draft prints and the option of booklet printing as well. It is rated at 16 ppm for black and white printing which is an acceptable rate for home use. You an even use it for office work but only is the load is moderate and that too with special configuration of options. Paper jams are rare and easily manageable. The cartridges are easily available. ...
...ink-level indicator is not reliable. Also, the notifications may sometimes become bugging to the user. There is not much space for the printed paper to set up and it tends to fall off from the printer after the printing has been done. To sum up, I would say that you can buy this printer if you intend to use it for home printing rather than tedious office jobs. ... Read review
