Advantages: Automatic papper feeder Disadvantages: Kind of bulky
I found my Lexmark X6170 in the trash on the side of the road. It was in great condition except for a little dust and dirt. I brought it home to test it out. Everything seemed to be working except the ink cartridges were dried up, so I traded them in on some new ones. They're kind of tricky to install but I got them in there. After you install new cartridges it asks if you want to calibrate them; an easy process, it prints out a page of lines and ... ...have to have it connected to a computer to use it. It's been a great experience for me since I paid $0 for it. If I were to have to pay for it, it would be well worth $200+. And I would be glad to pay that out if I had the money. ...

Advantages: easy to plug, great prints, many printing options, can plug digital camera & other memory card Disadvantages: none
I have nothing but good things to say about this printer. It is nice and affordable, the quality of the prints are great! It is easy to install and works very fast. I have had problems where it suddenly becomes uninstalled from my computer but that is a quick fix. It is totally worth the price and seems to be durable. It is great for pictures and actually fun to use due to its tiny screen where you can see what you're printing. This printer is does ...

Advantages: colors, price, size, usb inputs Disadvantages: print cartriges, size of scanner, software
...printer. I have had other Epson printers in the past but not the multi function kind. If you have no experience with this kind of printer realized that they are not a replacement for a real copy machine and a laser printer. But if you have limited desk space this is a good product.
Pros:
- The Epson 7400 is a great scanner for letter sizes on down. Plenty of resolution and decent speed.
- The prints are all high quality with great colors from ... ...- My biggest problem with Epson printers is that when 1 color is running low (not even out!) the printer stops printing. You need to buy a replacement cartridge before you can print (even if you just want to print in black and white).
- The software. The programs included are just bloatware like every other printer.
- No fax. This is not a fax machine! Some sites say it can but it uses Windows fax function to do it.
- Scanner size is just big ...

BROTHER MFC 3360C
As some of you know I have a trusty HP printer and love that brand a lot, but with an ever-aging scanner and the occasional need to receive/send faxes, my attention has been drawn to multi-function machines. There have been some good reviews on Ciao but when it came to buying one of these mfcs my attention was drawn to the Brother MFC 3360C.
In the past I have only been aware of the Brother brand in relation to sewing machines ... ...MFC, and the price at which it was being sold (a "deal") I just had to have it!
OK to the machine.
The manufacturers spec. is readily available online so I won't rehash all that this MFC can do, but let me tell you about setting it up and daily usage and what has impressed me so far.
SETTING UP - This is as easy as it comes. The MFC is packed well and is delivered with a cable for connecting to to the telephone socket, a USB cable to connect to ...
