This printer is ok to have and the ink is not too high. It is smaller than most printers and it is not hard to install at all. The print quality is not the best in the world but it prints ok. I think it could have been better. The speed is slower than other printers are. And it does not print pictures as well as I would like. It is reliable just slow. ...reminded that this is an hp printer, I use it to print the photos I put up on my wall at work and they are great quality, I have no problem with people coming in and looking at all my pictures, they are clear and a lot of time, people think they are photos from a photo studio. I use this fax machine in my office and I have to say that it's one of the most irritating fax machines I have ever used. Yes it gets the job done on both the giving and receiving end of faxes and with the quality you'd expect from Canon. However, if you're planning to fax a document of more than one page, be prepared to get into a wrestling match with this machine as it tries to suck up three pages at once.
