As laser printers go it has a smallish footprint but HP (as an alternative) do offer similar sized laser printers. ...able to pinpoint why the Brother jammed so often in the first couple of years of use. I have to admit that it seems to have improved with age, as I get far fewer jams nowadays compared to the first 2 years of use. ...the same pics on the Canon iP4500. The print quality is the same. The only way I could tell which was which was by the watermark on the back of the photo paper. Duplex Printing - this feature was a must for me. Why waste paper....I print a lot of multi-page documents (emails) and I get tired of wasting paper.
