display is too bright for bedroom i had it sitting on my night stand next to the bed when i would roll over it was like a deer in headlights. I even tryed turning the setting all the way down to 0 brightness. So for me blue fluorescent displays are a no no... This has several functions that I like. It can be used to for AM/FM radio, as an alarm clock and to play an iPod on the radio. I used it as an alarm clock for a long time, and the more I used it the more difficult it became to adjust the time to what I wanted. There seemed to develop a short and the time would jump ahead too far or not move at all and it became impossible to go back in time. This problem carried over to changing the radio stations ...

This is a nice portable radio and alarm clock to have. It is very good about waking us up for either work or for school. It works really good and it is very loud when it goes off.
