This dvd player works really well. It's great for long car rides or airplane trips and last a long time too, i beleive the battery last around 8-10 hours. The color and picture is great and really good contrast. Theres times though in the car if the car was vibrating a lot on the freeway a couple times it would freeze for a few seconds or so, and sometimes i've had to completely turn off the whole dvd player and restart from scene selections.The ... On my first use of Philips Portable DVD, I knew I have made the right decision to buy it. It has excellent picture quality which is an advantage to its' 7" size monitor, which makes viewing movies or favorite show easy, also an advantage is the quality of sound it produces, just the right quality not too loud yet not too soft. This is a VERY cool portable DVD player. I purchased one of these to have something to watch movies on while going on long trips, and it was a very wise purchase.
