Step son enjoys
Review of COBY TF-DVD7307 by stonecold

Advantages: great everything
Disadvantages: n/a

My step son bought him one of these with his birthday money and he is really enjoying it. The picture comes in really good on all the movies that he watches in it. It is portable so he can carry it on family vacations and to take out side to sit in the warm weather. The sound volume goes up pretty loud. It has a different range of features that you are able to use. You can even put it on subtitles if you don't want to hear sound and choose to read ... Read review

Best impulse buy in a long time
Review of COBY TF-DVD500 by Justine82

Advantages: Very portable, easy to use, included accessories
Disadvantages: Poor sound quality without headphones, screen gets hot

I have to admit that this was a bit of an impulse purchase but I am amazed at how much we have actually used it. This little DVD player can literally go everywhere with me. I can fit it into my bag or the diaperbag and, because it's about the size of a portable cd player, my son can hold onto it in the car and watch dvds. The screen is small so only one person would probably watch it at a time, which is usually the case with us, but the picture ...
...comes in handy as well and it can double as a music player. We have taken this little thing camping, on flights, road trips, etc. It is extremely easy to use and very portable. My only complaint is the sound quality. I have a hard time hearing it sometimes so the headphone jack comes in handy for me. The headphones it came with didn't sound that great but I just use a better pair and it's perfect. The battery lasts about 2 hours which is more than ... Read review

My friend Bob has a COBY TF-DVD7006 Portable DVD Players, last friday I went to his house, he was watching movie, and it is just shown on the COBY TF-DVD7006 player. It is great, the screen is clear and the color is vivid. My friend Bob told me,he got it from a store and used it for a few days.He is a film lover and the COBY TF-DVD7006 player meet his hobby very much. What's more,it is easy to carry, when you go anywhere you can take it with you.In ...
...When I saw the small guy,I also liked it,so I borrowed it from Bob to have a wonderful time. The picture quality is pretty good and it is good value for money. It is a pity that the screen is a little small,of course it would be nicer to have a bigger screen but you should pay more for a larger screen. For such reasonable price, the screen is ok. When I return it to my friend Bob,he says he is happy with the purchase and would recommend this piece ... Read review

This DVD Player Isn't Compatible With Newer iPods
Review of Audiovox D8000IP by bigwerd07

Advantages: Nice Quality Sound, Clear Picture, Good Price
Disadvantages: Doesn't Support New iPods

I got the Audiovox D8000IP about 1 month ago for my youngest son. I bought it with the intention of him using it during car rides and long trips, such as doctors visits and rides on the Seattle Ferry. I picked this particular model out because it was relatively cheap, it was video iPod capable, and I didn't need anything fancy. I purchased the player from amazon.com for 100 dollars. It arrived in 4 days and I quickly put it to use as I had to take ...
...got home, I called an Audiovox representative who nicely explained that the newer video iPod "classics" we not compatible due to Apple placing some kind of chip in them preventing such activities by anything except Apple products. Talk about a total bummer. I returned to Amazon, and to my surprise, they had written that the 60 and 80 GB models were not compatible. I didn't even bother to pay attention to that because I had a 160 GB model. So, I blame ... Read review
