I can see my movies now.
Review of Audiovox D1817 by Plum

Advantages: Small, portable.
Disadvantages: Sound and picture is not the best.

I've got of this in x - mas. This is a portable DVD player. You can play any movie you want to, like a regular DVD player. This devices comes with a flat screen and speakers, all in one thing. By that way it becomes very easy to transport. The image quality is not bad, but is not the best out there. The sound is not so bad either, but you can't put it too loud because it sounds like echoing. Is very easy to use, you just put the DVD in the try ... Read review

dvd player is worth it
Review of Audiovox D1718 by stonecold

Advantages: clear picture, sound, easy to carry
Disadvantages: none

My friends daughter picked out this portable dvd player that she wanted to buy with her birthday money. The features looked really nice on it. Of course when she bought it, it was very easy for her to carry around. As we took it to her house for me to show her how to use it . It was very simple. It had to be charged for a while before she could just use the battery. But she couldn't wait for the battery to charge so we hooked it into the wall. It ... Read review

This DVD Player Isn't Compatible With Newer iPods
Review of Audiovox D8000IP by bigwerd07

Advantages: Nice Quality Sound, Clear Picture, Good Price
Disadvantages: Doesn't Support New iPods

I got the Audiovox D8000IP about 1 month ago for my youngest son. I bought it with the intention of him using it during car rides and long trips, such as doctors visits and rides on the Seattle Ferry. I picked this particular model out because it was relatively cheap, it was video iPod capable, and I didn't need anything fancy. I purchased the player from amazon.com for 100 dollars. It arrived in 4 days and I quickly put it to use as I had to take ...
...got home, I called an Audiovox representative who nicely explained that the newer video iPod "classics" we not compatible due to Apple placing some kind of chip in them preventing such activities by anything except Apple products. Talk about a total bummer. I returned to Amazon, and to my surprise, they had written that the 60 and 80 GB models were not compatible. I didn't even bother to pay attention to that because I had a 160 GB model. So, I blame ... Read review

portable DVD player
Review of Memorex MVDP1102 by jillt

Advantages: keep kids quite
Disadvantages: needs to be louder for the smaller kids

I like this product very well, they are good to have when you are traveling and have kids, that way they are into the movie and not saying are we there yet. I wish that the batteries would stayed charged longer, but other that this is a very great product to have. If you don't own one you should think about it. I also wish that the sound would be a little more louder so that everyone could hear good, it is hard for a two year old to keep headphones ... Read review
