I got the Audiovox D8000IP about 1 month ago for my youngest son. I bought it with the intention of him using it during car rides and long trips, such as doctors visits and rides on the Seattle Ferry. I picked this particular model out because it was relatively cheap, it was video iPod capable, and I didn't need anything fancy. I purchased the player from amazon.com for 100 dollars.
