This is a nice portable dvd player to have when going on a trip or even when the power goes out. The graphics are really good and the volume is pretty loud. It will play two or three movies before the battery dies. I bought one about five years ago and it still works like new. It has never tore up since I have had it. We bought this portable DVD player for our kids a couple of years ago because we were going to a lot of doctor's appointments and such. It is ok, but I wouldn't rate it great. The sound quality could be way better. The volume starts to crack when increased even the slightest. So it has to be kept on low volume and for that reason you have to be very close to it to hear it. ...fact that when using the option of the zoom feature it leaves a little box and a X2 in the corner of the screen while playing the movie.
