Pokemon Blue Version - An excellent game
Review of Pokemon Blue Version for Game Boy by alisarialtun

Advantages: excellent story, creative gameplay, lots of fun, many kinds of pokémon (all)
Disadvantages: addicting, very addicting (seriously)

Pokemon blue version is the mate of red version of the game. The yellow version is a newer one and it is released one year later than the release of pokemon blue and red versions. The game takes place in a city called Kanton. Just like in the cartoon series, the main character (Ash, in cartoon) lives in Pallet Town and wants to be the best pokemon master ever. For this reason he talks with professor Oak and he gives him an option to chose a pokemon ...
...your badge. The system of Pokemon League is just like in the cartoon and you will need 8 badgets to enter the competition. You have a chance to catch wild pokémon while you are walking in the forests. YOu can catch them, train them until a certain level to make them strong enough to challange your rivals and battle with other people in the game. You can train your pokémon by beating other pokémon in the wildirness or you can do that by beating other ... Read review

Pokemon Its Super!
Review of Pokemon Blue Version for Game Boy by BennMcIntyre16

Advantages: Easy rpg game
Disadvantages: graphics not to good

Pokemon Blue is one of the most loved RPG's ever made. It has everything. First of all let me give you an idea of the pokemon franchise. Basically the aim of the game is to catch, raise and fight little creatures called pokemon. You start off with one pokemon and go through the game trying to catch more. After you have visited many towns, beaten gym leaders and gotten their gym badges, you are ready to fight the elite four. With the six pokemon that ...
...now captured and trained pokemon to fight five consecutive battles, the last being your rival throughout the game. The gameplay of Pokemon Blue is almost endless, as you must try and capture all 150 pokemon as well as train them all to Level 100, aswell as fighting many many trainers along the way. Also throughout the game you must battle and defeat a troublesome group called 'Team Rocket'. ... Read review

Pokemon Blue- The game.
Review of Pokemon Blue Version for Game Boy by Barkalk

Advantages: Hours of game play, addictive game play, "It's old school"
Disadvantages: Is not sold in many shops any more

Pokemon is a classic Gameboy game, and my fourth when i was 6. It is the ultimate RPG that was brought out by Nintendo and was matched at the time with the 'Pokemon trading card game' and the 'Pokemon' Tv episodes. In Pokemon blue you start of as a young boy, you are opened with a friendly figure caleld Prof. Oak and he will run through what the world of Pokemon consists off. You first chose your name and then the name of your rival who you will ...
...from starting of with one Pokemon given to you by Proff. Oak too aiming to capture 150 different types of Pokemon and defeating eight different Gym leaders, each Gym leader with a certain type of badge. After that you move on the Elite four and the Pomemon Master, once you have done these Pokemon are does not finish there, there are 5 very rare Pokemon to catch, and once you have all 150, level them to 100! I would recommend anyone to by a old game ... Read review

Disadvantages: none

Pokemon: Blue Version Pokemon Blue version was released in the year 1996 and in the other countries in year 1999. It is developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo. Compared from the green version it reached other countries and many critic praised this version for it made a lot of fans compared from the green version where it didn't even reached other countries and didn't have many fans. ...game is that the display pokemon in the box is Blastoise I have 3 versions of pokemon, Yellow , red and blue. All has the same game-play but the yellow version is the best among 3 version that I have. The graphics is not impressive because the color of the screen is blue. Compared to yellow version it has different colors. Although I like playing this game. But I recommend you to buy the yellow version or the newest version of pokemon. This version ... Read review

Advantages: Good Graphics, New concept, good gameplay, variety

Ah Pokemon Blue an old classic that we know everybody who even considers themselves a gamer has tried and loved for some time. For it's time It had the best graphics. The visual quality of this game boy game compared to the others was fantastic. It was a great new concept brought to the gaming industry several years back. You fight these monsters called pokemon and then you can catch them and train them as you own pets, adding abilities and leveling ...
...The game features 150 different pokemon with different abilities and a hidden pokemon mew with psychic powers. Gotta catch 'em all
Review of Pokemon Stadium (N64) by davidmuk taken from ciao.co.uk

Advantages Great graphics, can transfer gameboy data, easy to play
Disadvantages If you haven't got the gameboy game you are at a disadvantage

...This is simply an amzing game. Although there may not seem much to it, really there is. If have never heard of this game here is an explanation: You are a Pokémon trainer and you choose 6 Pokémon to battle for you. These Pokémon range in strength and attack abilities. Certian Pokémon are good against other Pokémon (e.g. A water Pokémon is good against a fire Pokémon). You then battle these Pokémon against an opponent in a stadium. The battle is turn based so you choose an attack then your oppenent does. The first person to defeat all of their opponents Pokémon wins. Also with Stadium you can play the gameboy versions of the game (Red, BLue and Yellow) and then transer your Pokémon from the GameBoy Pak and use them in the Stadium game. There are also a few mini-games so you can humiliate your mates. The graphics are excellent... Read review

Manufacturer's product description

Are you a good trainer? Find out as you try to capture and train pocket monsters, otherwise known as POKEMON, in the BLUE version. As Ash Ketchum, you'll pursue 150 different monsters, from Pikachu to Blastoise. Train them well, and they'll evolve into more powerful monsters. Trade with your friends and work on your training strategy...you'll need a good one to defeat eight GYM leaders and reach your full monster training potential.

Additional information

Detailed Description: It's the game that started a revolution, but it's not just the fad that convinced gamers to "catch 'em all." This deceptively simple and child-friendly roleplaying game design is a far deeper game design than it looks. Pokemon features way more strategy and gameplay than it leads on, offering gamers almost infinite gaming possibilities even after the main adventure ends. Initially released in Japan as Pocket Monster Red and Green in 1996 (and later Red), the franchise arrived in the west in 1998 as Pokemon Blue and Red. The games could be linked up with each other and with the N64's Pokemon Stadium titles for creature trading.
