Review of Olympus Stylus Epic Zoom 170 QD - Point & Shoot / Zoom camera - 35mm - lens: 38 mm - 170 mm - metallic gold by
tonnya
Advantages: Excellent performance and photo quality
Disadvantages: Not with all features
Olympus Stylus Epic Zoom 170 QD - Point & Shoot / Zoom camera - 35mm - lens: 38 mm - 170 mm - metallic gold, The Rebel series seems far more appropriate. In CA mode you can also select single, continuous, or self-timer shooting; Picture Style; photo size and quality; and flash mode. There are a handful of new features, though no movie capture. Notably, it replaces shutter and aperture adjustment options with two sliding scales--Exposure (brighter/darker) ... ...it's an interesting idea, it seems too much of a newbie feature to put on the 50D. Canon squeezed an extra programmable function button below the LCD. You can assign it to directly access LCD brightness, image quality, exposure compensation, image jump during playback, or Live View settings. Additionally, the PictBridge button now does double duty; it also lets you toggle between regular and Live View shooting. ...

Nikon 35Ti review
Review of Nikon 35Ti by
vignanvenu_eee
Advantages: point and shoot camera
Disadvantages: none
this is the point na dshoot camera having superb functionalities and so many advantages. Summary:
Don''t kid yourself about this one. Yes, it is beautiful to look at in a mysterious sort of way. But it''s just a good, not a "great" picture taker, and its classy design sometimes (too often for me) negates its functionality. The instruction booklet - over 100 pages of it - is a depressing necessity when adjusting the simplest functions. You''ll find ... ...button switches were designed for people with exceptionally long fingernails or pencil-thin fingers. The lens is sharp and the AF is usually right-on, but this is also true of the much less-expensive Olympus Stylus. The battery drain on this camera is just absurd, or criminal, depending on your point of view. So yes, it looks great. Get one, hold it in your hands, and marvel at its amazing design. If you''re a gadget person, you''ll probably get ...

Canon ELPH Z3
Review of Canon ELPH Z3 by
vignanvenu_eee
Advantages: so many
Disadvantages: none
this is one of the greatest filmy camera having so many advantages and the functioning is really superb as i have already taken few short movies with this camera. Summary:
A tiny little camera with lots of features. Some of them are useful. I am not all that impressed with the picture quality this camera produces. I got this camera for my wife to use but we havn't used it very much because our other camera (also APS) takes much better pictures. ... ...easy to throw into a purse. The camera feels quite sturdy and parts of it are real metal! The ergonomics are great. Even though my hands are large it is easy for me to use. The info display lights up so it's easy to read in dark rooms or shade. Also, you can program the red eye reduction mode to be the default mode. Handy for most situations this camera will be used in. There is also a setting that lets the camera focus before you push the button ...

Review of Contax T vs III by
vignanvenu_eee
Advantages: so many
Disadvantages: none
...than the proponents of the Contax products (P&S or otherwise) and excuse the short comings of the Leica. So if you want the short version: Minilux Zoom is a very good camera only because of the lense. The TVSIII is a great camera because of the lens, the technology and the user interface.
Strengths:
The TVSIII and Leica are, if nothing else comparable in lens quality. Both offer images better than what you''ll get with most SLR''s. Shooting side ... ...couldn''t determine a clear winner. Each has fantastic color, contrast, resolution. On this size camera handshake plays almost as much a role as lens quality (see shutter speed comment below). In reading various reviews it''s maddening to hear people lament the speed of the lens or the bokeh doesn''t compare to some prime lens or the results aren''t as satisfying as what they get with their Hasselblad. Give me a break! No these aren''t inexpensive ...
