Review of Olympus Stylus Epic Zoom 170 QD - Point & Shoot / Zoom camera - 35mm - lens: 38 mm - 170 mm - metallic gold by
tonnya
Advantages: Excellent performance and photo quality
Disadvantages: Not with all features
Olympus Stylus Epic Zoom 170 QD - Point & Shoot / Zoom camera - 35mm - lens: 38 mm - 170 mm - metallic gold, The Rebel series seems far more appropriate. In CA mode you can also select single, continuous, or self-timer shooting; Picture Style; photo size and quality; and flash mode. There are a handful of new features, though no movie capture. Notably, it replaces shutter and aperture adjustment options with two sliding scales--Exposure (brighter/darker) ... ...it's an interesting idea, it seems too much of a newbie feature to put on the 50D. Canon squeezed an extra programmable function button below the LCD. You can assign it to directly access LCD brightness, image quality, exposure compensation, image jump during playback, or Live View settings. Additionally, the PictBridge button now does double duty; it also lets you toggle between regular and Live View shooting. ...

LOMO Fisheye 2
Review of Lomographic FishEye 2 - Point & Shoot camera - 35mm - lens: 10 mm by
brix99
Advantages: fish eye lens, uses film
Disadvantages: flexibility, uses film
LOMO FishEye2 is not so much different than FishEye in terms of it's image output. Functionally-wise, FE2 has a new bulb mode option that will enable the user to shoot with the shutter infinitely open to get those night shot light streaks effect that we all crave about. Another change is the Standard Flash Hotshoe & Built-In Electronic Flash, that will enable you to synch to your favorite colorsplash flash. A Multiple Exposure mode is also made to ... ...same frame. By pressing the MX button after taking your first shot, you're now ready for the next one. The fisheye lens gives the impression of a "180 degree" view. The one thing I like about the Fisheye over similar lens kit is the fisheye barrel distortion. For the LOMO enthusiats, this camera is a must-have for your collection. ...

Review of Canon ELPH Z3 by
vignanvenu_eee
Advantages: so many
Disadvantages: none
this is one of the greatest filmy camera having so many advantages and the functioning is really superb as i have already taken few short movies with this camera. Summary:
A tiny little camera with lots of features. Some of them are useful. I am not all that impressed with the picture quality this camera produces. I got this camera for my wife to use but we havn't used it very much because our other camera (also APS) takes much better pictures. ... ...easy to throw into a purse. The camera feels quite sturdy and parts of it are real metal! The ergonomics are great. Even though my hands are large it is easy for me to use. The info display lights up so it's easy to read in dark rooms or shade. Also, you can program the red eye reduction mode to be the default mode. Handy for most situations this camera will be used in. There is also a setting that lets the camera focus before you push the button ...
