It is a great TV. I got mine several months ago and it has been good to me. The HD and Digital Tv features are exellent. You able to view whats on next and its great. The picture is exellent. What ever you do dont pause the Television (yes you can pause the television, i get to that in a min) or movie and walk away for an hour you will get screen burn it happened to me although in will go away after a day. I absolutely love this television. It has 2 HDMI, 2 Composite and 2 component inputs which allows me to hook up 3 different gaming consoles along with my Dish Network all at once. At first the picture is a little to blurry for my taste on standard definition channels. But if you play with the picture settings you make sure you dont stretch to fit, you can make it look very nice. And the HD channels are amazing! I was going to buy a surround sound ...

This is a very cool looking tv that really captures the big picture on the screen. It is very nice to have in your living room or even in the bedroom. It is of course very heavy but at least i want tip over. It shows movies in a very nice and clear picture and the screen has never been blurry or even went out either. When I first laid eyes on this TV, I was stunned by the design. Its a massive 50" which makes an impact in any normal sized room and the product generally looks great with sleek glossy black borders and a steel stand. When the screen was turned on the colours were amazing due to the very high colour capability, but the thing that struck me most was the amblight on the back of the borders that started glowing in similar, natural colours to the picture ...
...when viewing the TV as the wall glows in sync. with the screen giving a real feeling of depth. The quality of the picture was very good although I have to say that I have seen better, as this TV isn't 1080p full HD although it still produces high quality images. the sound is also a good stereo quality for decent viewing pleasure, although for such a large TV I would recommend surround sound. This Panasonic TH 42PZ700U plasma TV, definately lived up to its potential when I bought it. This was a while ago, and I have used it on average for about 3 hours a day and she still runs smooth and brilliant as if she was still new!
