Pioneer's MJ-17D MiniDisc Recorder puts your favorite programming onto an extremely portable minidisc format. The digital noise reduction recording brings you your favorite programming with a minimum of interference. Pioneer's MD recorders use compression technology named ATRAC (Adaptive Transform Acoustic Coding) in recording. ATRAC compression enables the same length of playtime on a smaller disc by masking the frequencies at lower sound levels which may not be apparent to the listener. Accurate Servo Circuit eliminates unwanted internal noise created by the motor mechanism. Other features include Pioneer Exclusive Digital Noise Reduction, Digital Recording Volume exclusive to Pioneer, Legato Link Conversion, Fs converter and recording that captures every nuance.
